FolderRAID Crack For Windows is developed by San Francisco-based Dave Krycak, a programmer who got interested in folder synchronization while visiting his friend in Norway.

After the friend’s PC crashed with a corrupted folder, he immediately contacted the provider of this PC, and received an immediate, free replacement. All his data were intact, and all he had to do was copy his folders from the new PC to the old one.

This was the first time he realized that if something unexpected happens to a PC’s hard disk, or if it gets corrupted, one should have a way to safely migrate the whole folder structure.

With FolderRAID, his friend was able to make his PC’s folder structure look like it was never lost!

Some time later, Dave saw a need for a solution that would allow users to easily backup their folders.

He decided to write an application with a GUI. The result was FolderRAID, which included some additional useful features like a file scheduler to schedule the backup, and “watch” functionality to make sure that files are copied on the target folder as they are being created, modified or removed from the source folder.

In FolderRAID, you can add folders as the source, or set a target folder for a source, or use different folders as the source for different targets.

The tool features a drag and drop interface for file copy and manipulation.

The backup is to a file, which can be done either to a disk or to a network server.

Files can be renamed in the source or target folders.

The user can schedule the backup to run at a time of his choice.

There’s a “watch” functionality, which monitors the source folder for any changes, and automatically runs a copy to the target folder.

FolderRAID is a handy, Java based tool specially designed to offer users real-time synchronization and backup for folders.
Basically you define source folders, and for each folder – target folders, for example folders on different physical hard drive / network drive. When “watching” is on – the process will run in background without interrupting you.
When you run the program for the first time it will ask you to define where to place.7z archive. If there is no.7z folder on your computer it will create one and ask you where to place other needed files.
If you decide to watch folders you will need to define “channels”. Channels are a set of watched folders, which run in background asynchronously. You can for example define 1 channel for your home PC and one channel for your laptop, which both can watch the same folders.
You can change settings such as watch cycle (for example 5 minutes), and selection of main and backup folders for each channel.
