With image editing software getting more and more sophisticated, graphic design skills are becoming more necessary. In this series, we’ll take a closer look at Photoshop and Photoshop Elements and their most common functions.

The two versions of Photoshop do things differently, so if you’re switching from Photoshop to Photoshop Elements and your workflow includes shooting photos and working with images, you might be feeling a bit lost when moving from one to the other.

In this article, I’ll provide a quick rundown of the differences between Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, along with key features that you’ll use as you develop your image editing skills.

Photoshop and Photoshop Elements: What’s the Difference?

Photoshop is a professional version of Adobe Photoshop. It features a powerful feature set for image editing and can be accessed by anyone, including non-designers.

But it is still a complicated piece of software, so it is designed to be worked by professionals. Photoshop is mostly used to produce high-quality images, retouch, and create PSD files.

Elements is a simple alternative to Photoshop. While it doesn’t have many of the features of Photoshop, its design is very easy to use and allows for basic editing, including cropping, resizing, and simple image merging.

If you just want to edit images and nothing more than that, there are often simpler, less complicated versions of Photoshop. Elements could be your best option for editing images.

The key feature that you’ll use in Elements will be the ability to overlay one image with another, in a process known as photo montaging. This is something that is possible in Photoshop, but it’s not as easy as it is in Elements.

Adobe Photoshop is designed for the professional photographer and to easily edit images that are ready to be printed. The Elements version is designed for photo editors, graphic designers, and hobbyists.

Both are able to do a lot of the same things, but the tools you use will differ depending on your particular editing need.

So which one is right for you?

Most users of Photoshop probably work professionally and have years of experience with Photoshop. They can use all the features of Photoshop and they’re familiar with how to use the software.

If you’re switching from Elements to Photoshop for a hobby or creative project, Elements might be a good option. It’s a great tool for beginners who want to learn more about editing and design.

But Photoshop remains the most popular

QR codes. We all know what they are. We’ve all seen them. But some of us have never tried to use them. But now, it seems like everywhere we turn, these smart plastic codes are becoming part of our everyday world.

QR codes are unique bar codes that allow you to instantly and easily navigate to a website or download a file. When you first hear about them, most of us were first thinking back to the old Nokia phones that used to come with a bar code scanner in them. I had several of those years back. But now, you can find them on practically anything: cell phones, smart phones, laptops, textbooks, even clothing.

If you own a smart phone, chances are, you’ve seen and used a QR code. I’ve seen them at the supermarket. They’re on the front cover of the graphic novel I’m reading. I even recently saw a QR code on a promotional necklace adorning the collar of a well-groomed woman leaving a restaurant where she was eating breakfast.

So what are they?

A QR code is a two-dimensional bar code

QR stands for Quick Response.

It is a type of two-dimensional (2D) bar code.

QR codes were created by the Japanese company Denso Wave in 1994, but the first QR code came to be used in Japan only. It was seen as an attempt to provide a more efficient way of reading the traditional Japanese One Bar Code, or 1-Kanji Code.

It was considered similar to a Palm Pilot because it was easy to scan a 2D bar code that was easily stored on a medium that was small enough to carry in a pocket. It was a lot less intrusive and easier to read than the 1-Kanji Code. In fact, even though a QR code is 2-dimensional, it has a similar straight, solid appearance to a 1-Kanji code.

What can a QR code do?

A QR code can point you to a website, to a photo or to an e-mail attachment.

QR codes are incorporated into billboards and other advertisements, allowing the bar code to provide an electronic “link” to the internet, e-mail, Google Search or iTunes.

QR codes are often used to provide a link to an online

Regional assessment of the influence of seed supplementation on carbon and nitrogen storage in yellow and white kidney bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) using stable isotopes.
The value of N and C stable isotopes to assess the value-added impact of legume seed supplementation on the digestibility of human dietary protein has been well documented. However, the study of the stable isotopes in the biologically significant storage organs of these pulses remains underutilized. This study attempts to quantify the value of N and C isotopes in the seed and pod tissues of yellow and white kidney bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) for assessing the impact of defoliation on seed production of these pulses. There was a significant effect of defoliation on seed production, resulting in significantly higher accumulation of protein, fat, fiber and K in the seeds with the lower defoliation levels. However, there was no differential effect of defoliation on stable isotope composition of these storage organs. In contrast, defoliation significantly increased N storage, but not C, in the seeds. In the pods, there was differential effect of defoliation on N and C storage. Although, seed N had been significantly higher than C with increasing defoliation levels, the C storage in the pods was significantly higher than N, with greater accumulation in dry seeds than in wet seeds. Across both the seed and pod tissues, defoliation significantly increased N isotope enrichment due to higher stable isotope fractionation factor, thus, resulting in a higher %N2 than %N1. This study demonstrates that stable isotopes in seed and pod tissues can be used as a complimentary tool to assess the influence of defoliation on legume seed production. This information can be used to make better decisions for the appropriate level of defoliation in these pulses at the stage of pod initiation.Websites and mobile apps are being designed to work with a tablet, and there are dozens of companies offering built-in accessibility features.

Meanwhile, there are also many tools you can use to make your website more accessible.
